Our Story

The vision for The Dugout has been in the works for years. We knew that Alexandria needed an indoor space where both baseball and softball players could train year-round, no matter the weather. By combining the strengths of the Alexandria Red’s Baseball Organization and Victory Fastpitch Academy, we’ve made that dream a reality. This facility is the result of countless hours of hard work, collaboration, and dedication – and we are so proud to finally open our doors to the Alexandria community.

Our Mission

At The Dugout, our mission is simple: to provide a world-class environment where young athletes can develop their skills, build character, and become better players – all while feeling supported by a community that cares. We are committed to fostering a positive and constructive atmosphere, pushing athletes to reach their full potential while ensuring they enjoy the journey, whether that is high school level sports or pursuing collegiate level play.

The heart of our training programs is our team of dedicated coaches, all of whom are former athletes and seasoned professionals with years of experience in the game. They bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for coaching to every session, always prioritizing the development of each athlete as a person as well as a player. Our coaches are committed to helping athletes push their limits in a supportive and motivating way, making sure every player walks away with improved skills and a deeper love for the game.

Our facility isn’t just a place to practice – it’s a community hub for Alexandria’s baseball and softball families. Whether you’re new to the sport or have been playing for years, we’re here to provide the resources, guidance, and encouragement you need to succeed.
